I will share the local secret of needlework in our capital of the rural outback of the city of Uryupinsk. Down gloves from goat down, how to tie them?

A pair of gloves will need about 40-50 grams of fine yarn from white goat down. Spinning is performed on cotton thread of size No. 40-50, and hook No. 1,5-2
We knit an elastic typesetting edge made of double crochet posts.

We consider its length along the edge loops. There should be 54. Carefully connect the edge to the ring. And from 54 loops we form 27 cells.

Then in a circle we carry out sirloin knitting. It is necessary to knit 3 or 4 rows. Depending on the size of the palm. Than it is smaller, the fewer rows need to be done.

We knit the glove on the left hand.
Then we knit 2 cells from the junction (this is already the 5th row). And immediately make a thinner for the thumb.

We knit this and the next row according to the drawing to the end. Then in the next row we also knit 2 cells and make another dilution.

We knit according to the drawing until the next dilution and make the second.

We tie this row and the next to the end. That is, through each row we repeat 2 dilutions. It turns out such a "wedge".

We finish it when we get 9 cells between dilutions. Then in the next row, having reached the dilution, we simply knit 10 air loops.

They will be the basis for the continuation of the glove.

Do not forget about the central pattern on the back of the glove. He begins to knit on the 9th row of cells. This is done as follows. In order for the pattern to be exactly in the center, after the second dilution it is necessary to knit another 7 cells, and the eighth to knit with a column inside. It turns out not an empty, but a filled cell. With the help of such cells and air loops we will knit a pattern.
In the following rows of cells in a checkerboard pattern, we knit out the filled ones, which are interconnected by air loops (VP).

VPs are connected only in the center:
First, one loop, in the next row - three, and in the third - five loops. Then the figure goes to narrow. Then in the next row, the VP must be connected with three loops, and then one.

We knit a glove cloth according to the drawing until the bases of the fingers are hidden. Break the thread.
Now we knit fingers. Let's start with the index. From the junction of the rows - the seam (it is in the palm of your hand), we retreat 2 cells to the left and attach the thread.

We knit 4 VP, count to the left of the junction of the thread of 10 cells and connect to the back of the glove FIG. 17. We knit 3 VP for lifting and knit the index finger in a circle. Knit until the tip of the finger disappears. Then we reduce and close the loops.

Then, from the back of the glove, from the base of the index finger, we retreat 4 cells to the left and tie the thread. Then we proceed, as in the previous version, and we knit the middle finger. Only from the palm of the hand 3 cells recede from the index finger.

For the nameless, we retreat 3 cells, and for the little finger, all the remaining ones.
Thumb
On the palmar side of the place of the last dilution we tie the thread, make 3 VP for lifting and knit in a circle. You need to try on the glove more often, since the thumb becomes narrower as it grows. Therefore, through a row it is necessary to reduce the cells.

It remains to tie the border. How many craftswomen, so many options. Here is a simple drawing done using the VI.
Here is what you should get
The right glove fits in a mirror image.
Products are washed, bleached. Then give them the necessary shape and size. Do this while the gloves are wet.
