If you like to create things with your own hands - this work may seem too simple. For those who for the first time want to try to make a useful and necessary home decoration - a win-win option. In this work, it is difficult to miss even a beginner. So, we think over what size and color of ottoman we need. Although this item is portable, where its main place will be, it is better to decide before manufacture. In this case, it is easier to choose a padded stool upholstery in tone and make it the right complement to the interior. We prepare all the necessary materials (which, by the way, may vary). And finally, get to work.
1. We make several plastic bottles of the same size and tightly rewind them with tape. If you have more "heavy" family members, you can make the design stronger; top on the neck of the bottle, put on extra bottles with cut off tops. We fill all the gaps between the plastic with the remnants of old things, batting, and foam rubber.

2. From the remnants of thick cardboard or fiberboard, cut out two identical circles that will become the basis for the ottoman. The dimensions should naturally match the diameter of the base of your structure. But small errors are permissible. This is a relatively difficult job, especially if you do not have the right tools. You can do with sharp scissors and a knife.

3. We attach the cut-out bases with adhesive tape and again fill in all the gaps. You can use old things, sweaters, even socks and tights.

4. We wrap this unsightly design with a dense fabric, in this case, a piece of linen track. You can use an old jacket or coat (everything that for some reason has been lying in the closet for some time and waiting for the time “what if it will be needed!”). We wrap the lower part tightly, pulling it and aligning along the bottom. Sew the sides and tighten the top more tightly, slightly wrapping the rest of the fabric. You can add the remains of batting by flashing the top with wide stitches for fastening.

5. You can make a cover of foam. If you make it a little larger than the seat, the ottoman will look like a fungus. You can decorate it in this style. For imagination and the use of unnecessary things - in this part of the mass of options.

6. Proceed to sewing the cover. I used fabric from a skirt. You can choose the color and pattern to your taste from existing things that you have not found for some reason before. If you want to clearly observe the style in the room, then you can buy some necessary material. Its dimensions depend on the height and diameter of your ottoman. Although blouses and sweaters, they can also help out a lot. First, with small allowances, we cut out a circle of seats and a strip along the diameter of the seat (if it is wider than the base). First we sew the ends of the strip, and then, we connect the two parts in a circle. Separately, we sew the cover of the base of the ottoman. We twist the lower part with a margin for drawing gum. Now connect (shorten) the cap of the seat and the stocking of the base. This work can be done with dense hand stitches, but if you have a sewing machine, your work is greatly simplified.

7. Dress the cover. We check the stability. Rejoice in a new and beloved thing!
