Hat on a hoop

All mind-blowing hats, as well as the reputation of a woman, are created from nothing. In our case, it is said incredibly accurately, because such a perky decoration for a hoop or elastic band will not only cost you a penny, it will look much more attractive and brighter than a regular flower made of fabric. And if you are planning a retro-style party, a costume party, or if you plan to visit the Royal Horse Racing in England (where a dress code obliges a hat), this is exactly what you need. And to make such a hat with your own hands is not difficult.
You will need:
- cardboard
- satin pink ribbon,
- 2 types of ribbons for decoration of tulle (I have polka dots),
- glue gun,
- scissors
- beads and half beads,
- 3 small roses from a needlework store,
- dark pink lace,
- a hoop.

I cut a circle with a hole of 5 cm in diameter from the cardboard (of which the margins are 2 cm), and another small one with a diameter of 4 cm (top of the hat).

I wrap a large circle with a pink ribbon, glueing it along the way. If there is no glue gun or glue for crystals, you can use a needle with a thread or PVA, although the quality of the connection will then be an order of magnitude worse.

Two ribbons are glued onto a small circle (so that they are slightly facing each other) and their edges are tucked inward.

The next step - a rectangle is formed from cardboard a little wider than the tape (about 6 cm) and the fabric is attached to it, so that on one side it goes a little on the other side, and on the other the cardboard remains visible.
I collect the whole hat with a glue gun, and on the tulle (where there is no satin) I stick a bright contrasting braid of two kinds (in peas).

Under the very bottom of the headdress lace is attached, so that it peeks out at 5 millimeters. Which one to use depends on your imagination, since contrasting and matching hats are good in their own way ...

At the junction of the tape on the tulle (so that the joint is not visible) I glue roses, a few loops of ribbons and lace.
Beads and half beads are placed in a chaotic manner over the entire surface of the cap.

The hoop is wrapped (and glued) with a pink ribbon and, at the junction with the hat, is attached with glue to the circle of cardboard, slightly smaller than the diameter of the lower circle of your headdress (4 cm).

Your hat is ready and with it your new irresistible image is ready!
