Handmade hair ornaments, which are made using the kanzashi technique, are currently considered very popular and very beautiful. Such jewelry is very famous and beautiful in that it is possible to make floral arrangements of any complexity in them. Flowers in this technique take on a different shape, and also they can combine, at first glance, very different colors and materials. These floral arrangements look very nice on hairpins, elastic bands, brooches, dressings and headbands. Kanzashi came to us from Japanese beauties, and we all know that it is they who are great fashionistas and were the first to decorate their hairstyles with flowers, adding some highlight and sophistication to their hairstyles. Now, Kansashi hair ornaments are very common on the hairstyles of kids, young girls who complement their outfits, both for every day and for social parties, graduations, discos and others. In addition, such a product as a gift will be very relevant and rather unusual. You can always please your girlfriend, sister, mother with an individual hand-made product that will always remind you.
With this joint master class, we will learn how to make a bright and shiny hair band that is very well suited for hairstyles, both for babies and for girls. This hoop for any summer along with pink and burgundy colors will be very relevant.
What we need for the rim:
• Metal rim for hair 5 mm wide;
• Three brilliant violet cabochons with a diameter of 5-6 mm;
• A narrow satin ribbon of white color, 5 mm wide, about 30 cm;
• Ribbons of brocade silver and pink, both 4 cm wide, take a meter in length;
• Burgundy ribbon from organza, width 4 cm, length 70-75 cm;
• Lighter;
• Ruler and scissors;
• tweezers;
• glue gun;
• Metal clips or clothespins;
• Needle with thread.

All the ribbons come with a shiny base, both from brocade and organza. Therefore, the flowers will turn out to be very saturated and bright with a brilliant shade. So, there will be three flowers on our hoop. Some flowers are sharper, while others are rounded, so they are made differently. One flower will be with nine rounded organza petals, and two flowers will be double, consisting of eight pointed petals each. We measure out 19 squares of silver brocade 4 * 4 cm, 6 squares of pink brocade 4 * 4 cm and 16 squares of burgundy organza also 4 * 4 cm. We cut out all the squares and burn each side with a lighter.

Make a rounded petal. Take a square.

They folded it once diagonally. Then we take an acute angle and first apply the right side to the center

Then left. We bend back and make an even cut from below and behind, parallel to the front of the petal.

We process the slices so that the threads do not bloom. Press well with tweezers.

Leveled up, done. In total, we make 6 pink and 3 silver petals of this shape.

With regards to the second type of petal: fold the silver square diagonally.

The second time also in half, take a clamp and press. Now add the organza.

Also two times, like the previous one.

With a pointed corner up, we now fold the brocade triangle into an organza triangle only slightly lower, the indentation is approximately 2-3 mm. Fold in half. From the bottom we cut exactly, burn and clamp. Then cut and side, process.

We get such a petal. Just for two flowers we make 16 of them.

We have three colors, we are preparing three substrates. Cut out the squares, then the circles.

Sew the petals one by one with a thread, glue the middle and the substrate with a gun.

Glue the bezel with a narrow white ribbon.

Glue the flowers on the rim to the right and you're done! Bright summer hoop is ready! Thank you all and good luck.
