To make a decorative pillow in the shape of a cat you will need:
- checkered fabric in beige shades,
- synthetic winterizer in one piece and in scraps,
- a piece of beige felt,
- thread floss black,
- beige threads for machine work,
- household sewing machine,
- scissors for cutting,
- a needle for manual work,
- safety pins
- tailor chalk.
Before being cut out of fabric, it should be ironed with steam or through a damp cotton cloth.
The pillow consists of several basic parts (dimensions are shown in a cut, with allowances for seams):
- the body of the cat, combined with the head - 2 pcs. (rectangle 35 * 25 cm with corners rounded by 6 cm),
- front paws - 4 pcs. (rectangle 22 * 6 cm with a rounded edge),
- hind legs - 4 pcs. (the same rectangle as on the front legs, but with a more expanding rounded part with fingers),
- tail - 2 pcs. (rectangle 22 * 6 cm with one rounded edge),
- ears - 4 pcs. (size and shape are arbitrary, in accordance with the proportions of the pillow),
- nose - 1 pc. (size and shape are arbitrary, cut out of felt).
Based on the indicated dimensions, it is necessary to cut the pillow parts, combining the cage and observing symmetry.

Harvesting the body must be pinned with pins on the synthetic winterizer.

On a sewing machine, fasten the fabric and the synthetic winterizer with auxiliary stitching at a distance of 5 mm from the sections, remove the pins.

The details of the legs and tail should be folded in pairs facing inwards and sewn around the perimeter at a distance of 1 cm from the sections, at the rounding off the seam allowances should be cut to 4 mm (this will facilitate the turning of the parts).

Harvested parts need to be turned out on the front side, straightened out curves, stuffed with scraps of padding polyester. You can embroider your fingers on the front legs.

Ears also need to be prepared before mounting the entire pillow. Cut out the details should be folded in pairs, face inward and stitched around the perimeter with a 7 mm seam. In one place, the line must be cut off - through this hole the ears are turned on the face. The corners should be straightened with a needle, ears in the finished form should be properly ironed.

On one of the pillow blanks, you should draw a cat's face. To do this, sew ears, sew a nose out of felt, embroider eyes, mustache and mouth with thread floss. Also at this stage, you need to notice the paws and tail.

Then this part must be covered with a second one and chopped both around the perimeter with pins.

After this, it is necessary to give the machine line parallel to the outer sections of the parts at a distance of 1 cm from them, leaving in one place a hole for turning the pillows.
