One of the advantages of such a soup is that it does not require high culinary skills and long preparation. There are some simple cooking recipes. Consider one of the options that will allow you to feed a large company within 40 minutes.

To prepare a hodgepodge for 6 servings you will need:
  • - low fat pork - 400 g.
  • - smoked sausage - 150 g.
  • - smoked ham (can be replaced with ham) - 150 g.
  • - sausages - 2-4 pieces (depending on the desired density of the soup).
  • - gherkins - 100 g.
  • - olives or olives without bone - 100 g.
  • - small potatoes - 2 pcs.
  • - onions - 1 pc.
  • - tomato sauce - 0.5 tbsp. l
  • - salt, spices as desired.

Total cooking period: 40 minutes - 1 hour.

Step-by-step recipe for making a simple hodgepodge

1. Fill a large pot with water at 2/3 and bring to a boil. Dip the pork previously washed in running water. Salt a little and leave to cook over medium heat for 30-40 minutes.
2. While pork is cooked, all other ingredients must be processed. Cut the sausage into thin strips.

3. Cut the ham into strips about the same size as the sausage. Solyanka will be more pleasant both in appearance and in taste, if you adhere to a single form of components.

4. Similarly chop the gherkins and potatoes.

5. Sausages cut into small circles.

6. After the time allotted for cooking the meat, remove the pork, cool and cut into small longitudinal pieces.

7. When all preparations are completed, you can begin to create the basis of the soup.

Fry a pre-chopped onion with a tablespoon of tomato paste in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes.
Place the potato straws in the meat broth and bring to a boil, then cook for 5-8 minutes.
8. Add overcooking, chopped meat products, olives and gherkins to the potatoes. Add your favorite spices, peppers, aromatic herbs, if desired.
Bring to a boil and turn off the heat.

Cover the pan and leave for a few minutes.
Serve hodgepodge with sour cream and fresh herbs, lemon. Such a soup will quench your appetite and will satisfy the most fastidious gourmet!

Feeding a family in one hour is quite realistic if you don’t have anything prepared in advance.
Take on arms and enjoy your meal!
