Often the reading process becomes very exciting, but you have to interrupt. And in order not to forget the place, you need to use bookmarks for books. Adults sometimes just use a piece of paper for these purposes. But for children's books it is better to make a more interesting bookmark. For example, a bookmark in the form of a koala looks funny. It is her creation in the origami technique that is presented in our master class.

To make the bookmarks, prepare:
- paper of orange color;
- scissors;
- a ruler;
- a pencil;
- black marker;
- glue stick.

Our craft will consist of two parts - the body and the head. Therefore, we cut out squares with sides of 15 cm and 12 cm in advance.

From a large square, we will begin to make the body of a koala. To do this, fold in half.

Then we make another fold. So we got a blank in the form of a square folded 4 times.

We turn it off on one side and give the shape of a triangle.

Now you need to do the same with the other side.

Evenly distribute the folds in the form of triangles. The preparation of the koala body at this stage has the following form.

Bend the top corner down.

After this, you need to begin to straighten the workpiece from the bottom.

Give it the following look.

Apply glue to the inner corners.

Fold in half.

We bend the corners a bit, these will be the legs of our koala. Additionally, it is necessary to perform an internal fold in the lower right corner.

Now let's focus on folding the head of a koala using the origami technique. To do this, on a small square we outline the transverse folds.

Bend the lower corners to the center.

Turn the head blank to the other side.

Now bend the upper corners to the center.

The right side of our workpiece must be bent to the center line so as not to wrinkle the triangle from the wrong side (it is gently brought up).

Do the same with the left side.

We bend the upper part down.

The bottom corner needs to be bent up.

So we formed the face of a koala.

It remains to draw her eyes and nose.

We glue together two parts.

Our bookmark in the form of a koala, made using the origami technique, is ready.
