A simple and elegant accessory for hair in the shape of a flower can be made from the remains of organza.
To create an accessory you will need such materials and tools: organza, a narrow ribbon of organza (one meter is enough), a sewn-in stone in a metal frame, an elastic band for hair, scissors, a candle, a thin nylon thread, a needle and two round patterns with a diameter of 11 cm and 14 cm.
Work sequence:
1. Cut five round pieces of organza from 11 cm and 14 cm in diameter. Melt the fabric around the edges.
2. Fold each part in half with the wrong side inward and, stepping back from the edge of 3-5 mm, sweep both halves in increments of 4-6 mm.
Cloth the fabric, fasten the working thread and cut.
You should get five identical petals of two different sizes.
3. String five identical petals onto a working thread
and close in the ring, passing the needle again through the first lobe. Fasten the working thread. In the same way, collect the remaining five petals into a ring.
4. Combine both modules with the middle and sew on the inner edge of the petals to get a two-tiered flower.
5. In the middle of the flower sew a stone in a metal frame.
6. On the wrong side of the model, fix the elastic band for the hair.
It is recommended to use a new thread for sewing on the elastic, so that, if necessary, the elastic can be replaced without damaging the flower itself. For greater reliability, the gum can be fixed by passing several times the working thread through the metal base of the sewn stone.
7. Between the tiers of the flower, tie three organza ribbons 30 to 33 cm long with a simple knot.
The tape is additionally fixed by passing the needle through each node and the metal frame of the stone.
Cut the ends of the tape to the desired length and melt.
Organza Bowknot
convenient to use, keeps shape well and restores it after washing.
