In this review, the author shows how to make a curvimeter from a piece of plywood and a bolt. Using this device, you can measure the length of various curved parts.

In addition to a piece of plywood and a bolt, a mortise nut on wood and a piece of metal strip will also be required. For the pen, the author uses a piece of polypropylene pipe with a diameter of 20 mm.

The first step is to cut a round from a piece of plywood. For this, the author uses a crown on wood.

Then we drill the central hole in the round timber to the desired diameter and hammer the mortise nut with a hammer.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, using a drilling machine (you can take an ordinary drill) and a rasp, the master gives the workpiece a roller shape.

Next, you need a piece of metal strip. From it you need to make a bracket in which you need to drill three holes: one - in the center and two - on the sides.

After this, the author proceeds to assemble the device: for this, two bolts (long and short) with nuts are required.

To make the handle, the master cuts a piece of polypropylene pipe that is suitable for length, puts it on the bolt and fixes it with a nut.
