The main material for making fixtures is hollow brass tubes and brass sheet. Alternatively, copper and even aluminum can be used.
Also in this case, special cartridges for bulbs with a power button and a dimmer will be required. The bulbs themselves are not pear-shaped, but made in the form of a bulb.
First, cut off two pieces of a brass tube of the desired length. This can be done either with a hand hacksaw for metal or with a band saw.
The ends of the brass tubes will need to be sanded on the grinder. If there is no grinding machine, then in this case, you can use a grinder with a petal circle.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author cuts out two round plates from a brass sheet (according to the diameter of the tubes), and then solders them to one of the ends of the tubes.
In the center of the plates, drill holes for the wire. Further, the author drills another hole, but already on the side of the tubes - under the power button, which is located on the cartridge.
Production of decorative elements
After that, on a piece of paper, the author draws arms, legs and feet of arbitrary shape. Cut and glue the patterns on a brass sheet, and cut the blanks on the band saw.
Then we grind the cut blanks on the grinder. Solder the feet to the feet. After fitting, solder the hands with the legs to the lamp housing.
At the last stage of work, it remains only to connect the wires, assemble the lamps and screw in the bulbs.
