Steel wire mesh netting is a popular building material, which is mainly used in everyday life for fencing a house territory or a summer cottage.
However, it can also be used, for example, for reinforcing screeds or plasters indoors. Moreover, you can make a mesh netting with your own hands.
But first, you need to make a homemade mini machine. Moreover, this will require a minimum of tools, which, for sure, are present in every workshop. It is only important to draw up the drawings correctly.
First of all, the master makes a shaft for a homemade machine. The shaft length is 21 cm. To do this, use a piece of steel three-quarter pipe.
At one end of the pipe, a slot must be made with a depth of 20 mm and a width of 5 mm. In the same place, at a distance of 1 cm from the edge, it will be necessary to drill a through hole with a diameter of 6 mm. It is better to drill the workpiece on a drilling machine.
The main stages of work
Next, cut two pieces of 40 mm long and two pieces of 20 mm long from the inch pipe. These four blanks will be used in the future for the manufacture of the hinge system.
For the manufacture of the supporting platform on which the shaft will be located, it is desirable to use a rectangular metal plate with a thickness of at least 4-5 mm. The dimensions of the site are 390 * 100 mm.
On one side of the site, two pieces of a construction corner 25 * 25 mm and a length of 160 mm are welded edge-up. A wire nozzle is installed between them.
The next step is to center the shaft in relation to the nozzle. Then the shaft is welded to the "cushion" of steel plates, which, in turn, need to be welded to the site.
Further, the master welds “paws” to the base, which will ensure the stability of the structure on the table. A clamp is made from a strip 6 mm thick to fix the nozzle.
Also, from an angle section of 25 * 25 mm, it will be necessary to make an “arrow” for feeding wire. The master uses 1.8 mm thick knitting wire. However, for the production of mesh netting for the fence, it is better to use a wire with a thickness of about 2.5-3 mm.
