If you are engaged in the manufacture of various wood products, then you can come in handy with a homemade crown for a punch. It will take a piece of metal pipe, a section from a circular saw and a shank from a drill.

The question begs: why do you need a homemade crown? For example, it can be useful in the manufacture of various decorative elements from wood. But the master uses it to make wooden mugs.

First of all, you need to find a piece of metal pipe of suitable diameter. The author uses a pipe with an outer diameter of 60 mm.

After that, you will need to do the marking with the help of a caliper, and then - cut two grinder. Next, a piece of pipe of the desired length is cut.

The process of making a homemade crown on wood

At the next stage of work, you will need to cut the part from a piece of circular saw for circular saw - its thickness is 2.5 mm. At the end of the blank, the author cuts out a small "nose" in the form of a triangle.

Next, the resulting part from a circular saw is inserted into the slots in the pipe, and scalded. And as a result, an almost finished crown on wood is obtained.

Then it remains only to make a cut in the shank of the drill for the punch, insert it into the part from the circular saw and scald. At the last stage, the master grinds the cutting edges with a grinder.
