Over time, the internal elements of the grinder wear out and require replacement. And often it is necessary to change not only the bearings, but also the rear hub.

It is pressed into a blind hole, and many owners of angle grinders have a completely logical question: how can they be pressed out of there?

In fact, there is nothing complicated here - in most cases, getting a sleeve out of a blind landing is even easier than removing the bearing from the motor shaft. There is one old grandfather method that remains relevant to this day.

How to make everything quick and easy

First of all, it will be necessary to disassemble the gear housing of the angle grinder - it contains the sleeve. In general, there are several options for how to remove the sleeve from the hole. You can, for example, simply drill or thread into it and pull it out.

But there is a simpler way. This will require a little grease, which can be found in the gear housing itself, and a bolt suitable for the inner diameter of the sleeve.

The hole inside the sleeve must be filled with grease. Then just insert the bolt into the hole, and hit it several times with a hammer. As a result, the sleeve will easily come out of its seat.

In detail about how to extrude the rear hub from the grinder without unnecessary troubles, we recommend that you look in the video on the website.
