It is not necessary to buy a stylish and inexpensive table for the house - if you wish, you can easily make it yourself from improvised materials.

To do this, you will need 4 steel corners polished and cut at an angle of 45 degrees and an old pine board. And as a table leg, a pair of balusters cut in half is suitable.

The first step is to make the frame. The frame of the table is assembled from sections of a steel corner cut at an angle of 45 degrees. The joints are welded, and grinded with a grinder with a petal circle.

The main stages of work

The board is cut to the size of the future countertops, and blooms into several small parts. The ends and surfaces of the resulting workpieces must be leveled on a surface planer.

Having marked the borders of the corners on the assembled countertop, the master mills the boards to the depth of the corner. The boards are screwed to the frame using self-tapping screws with preliminary drilling in the frame of holes with a diameter of 5 mm for self-tapping screws and 8 mm for their hats.

Defects a quarter of the selection on the boards the master disguises putty on wood. The tabletop and screwed legs are fired by a gas burner and varnished.

The result of the work done is an aesthetic table without excessive cash investments. Moreover, the manufacturing process allows you to develop the skills of phased processing of wooden and metal elements of the product.
