From ordinary rusty scrap metal, which only takes place in the workshop, you can make a useful homemade product yourself - a universal clamp.

Moreover, this clamp also has a large gripping range, which is very convenient when working. The scope of this clamp is quite wide.

It can be used for working with metal workpieces, and for processing wood or plywood. Appearance is not distinguished by something refined, but in this case, beauty is not required.

The main stages of work

To make a simple home-made clamp, four pieces of pipe will be required, as well as a piece of steel plate. And first you need to weld two pieces of different diameters (perpendicular to each other).

And then the master welds the two remaining segments, one of which must be welded a piece of steel plate. Welds immediately need to be cleaned with a grinder.

At the next stage, the master makes the marking and drills two holes in one of the blanks, which will be the movable element of the clamp. And then you will need to weld two M10 nuts to the resulting holes.

Next, you need to make a few more structural elements, and then you can proceed to the final assembly.
