It is very difficult to pump up a tubeless wheel of a car that has lowered it to zero using a conventional hand pump. Therefore, for this purpose, the author proposes to make a simple device for pumping wheels from an old receiver.

Due to the compact size of the structure, this device can be easily put in the trunk of a car, having previously pumped air into the receiver, and use the device if necessary.

To make this homemade product you will need an old receiver with a volume of about 6 liters. To the body you need to weld a plate with holes at the edges, slightly moving it from the center. At the ends you will need to weld two threaded adapters.

The master fastens the legs with rubber pads (from an old washing machine) to a steel plate with holes.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author cuts a piece of a strip of metal and bends it so as to make a corner. The part must be welded to the receiver body - on the back of the plate. It will be used as a pen.

Of the two ball valves, three adapters and two fittings, it will be necessary to assemble two separate "nodes" of the system, which are installed at the ends of the receiver. A hose is put on the outlet fitting, which is fixed with a hose clamp.

On the other side of the hose, the author installs a tire inflation valve from the hand pump. Well, that’s it - the homemade product is ready. That's just exactly the same function performs an electric pump, and there will be nothing to "chemical".

And most importantly - if the cylinder is planned to be used under pressure, it is better not to weld anything to the side walls. Draw your own conclusions. Details on how to make a simple device for pumping wheels from an old receiver can be seen in the video on the site.
