With the repair and replacement of worn bearings have to face everywhere, not only home craftsmen, but also car owners. With the help of a simple home-made puller made of an anchor bolt, you can quickly dismantle the bearings.

For this homemade product you will need pieces of the plate, a steel square, a long ordinary bolt and an anchor bolt. All these materials can be found in any home workshop and garage without any problems.

The first step is to weld the nut of the anchor bolt to the head of a regular bolt. To do this, clamp the ordinary bolt in a bench vise, then put the anchor bolt on top with the nut down so that it is in the middle of the cap, and weld.

The process of making a homemade puller

After the nut of the anchor bolt has been welded to the head of a conventional bolt, it is necessary to make the housing of the bearing puller. This will require a piece of steel square and two pieces of plate. In the square, you need to make a through hole in the center so that you can put it on the stud of a long bolt.

Then we weld two plates vertically on the edges of the square. After welding, we clean the metal with a grinder and paint. After that, a small piece of the plate should be welded at right angles to the side face of the bolt head. Now you can start assembling this device.

The detailed manufacturing process of a simple convenient bearing puller from an anchor bolt can be seen in the video on the website.
