To work in a home workshop or garage, it would be nice to have a simple chair on wheels, which will be comfortable to sit on, while it will be possible to spin in different directions. You can make a chair on wheels with your own hands from the scraps of a profile pipe.

First of all, we determine the size of the future chair. Then, with the help of a grinder, we cut the workpieces necessary in size from the profile pipe. To assemble a chair, a rectangular and square section profile is required.

After all the blanks are cut to size, you can begin to manufacture parts for the assembly of the chair. We will connect them using manual electric arc welding.

The main stages of work

First you need to weld the main frame, at the corners of which the wheels will be mounted. To do this, we collect a square from the scraps of a rectangular profile pipe, fix it with a magnet and scald. The result should be a square frame.

After that, 3 more sections of the profile need to be welded to the inner walls of the fabricated frame - this way you will get not only the base of the chair, but also the footrest.

At the next stage, from the prepared scraps of the square section profile, two U-shaped parts must be welded. They are then interconnected by two jumpers and welded to the main frame (stand).

The detailed process of making a homemade chair on wheels from scraps of profile pipes can be seen in the video on the website.
