Homemade key for bicycles
If the geometry of the rotation of the wheels of the bicycle is violated (G8 appeared), the problem is best solved here and now, without delaying until better times. To eliminate the runout of the wheels, you just need to tighten (or, conversely, slightly loosen) the spokes. And this is easy to do with a special key. If the factory is lost, do it yourself.
We take a compression nut, which is used for the installation of water pipes, and with the help of a grinder we make cuts of the required width (dimensions must first be removed with a caliper). Remove burrs on sandpaper. Work literally for 2-3 minutes.
"Case" to protect the frame pen
When driving fast on impassable roads or riding on bumpy roads, which are “at least a dime a dozen” in Russia, the chain beats strongly against the lower feather of the bicycle - part of the frame under the chain. In addition to the fact that when driving an unpleasant loud clang of metal is heard, the paint also peels off because of this, scratches appear, and there it is not far from corrosion.
To protect the lower feather of the bike from contact with the chain, you can make a simple cover made of dense fabric with Velcro for quick and reliable fixation. Alternatively, you can simply wind a thick rope around the frame.
Bike Chain Cleaning Tool
We take two old toothbrushes (it is possible also new, if it is not a pity) and we connect them "face to face" with plastic couplers. That’s all, actually - the tool for cleaning the chain is ready. Very simple, right? Now you can clean the bike chain from dirt and dust without much effort.
