From the usual black metal that can be found in any workshop or garage, you can make a beautiful iron flower for your flowerbed or front garden with your own hands. Of the main tool, you only need a machine (or a homemade device) for bending metal and a welding machine.
Making an iron flower: stages of work
First you need to prepare the basic elements for a floristic composition: five petals bent in the form of a spiral, two leaves and a stem. A circle of small diameter will also be required for the central part of the iron flower. All parts are made of round steel bar.
When the basic elements are ready, we proceed to the welding work - first we weld the petals, and then the upper part of the flower. The resulting parts are processed on a grinding machine or using a grinder. In the next step, we weld the flower and petals to the stem.
Then it remains only once again to polish the surface well and to clean the places of the welds, and then to paint. Colors can be selected at your own discretion (which ones you like more).
