Using nuts of the same size, as well as a steel bar with a diameter of 5-6 mm, you can make an unusual table lamp for a garage or workshop, decorated in the Loft style. However, even in the home interior, it will look quite dignified and very attractive.
The cost of this homemade product is extremely small, because for its manufacture available materials are used, most of which you do not even have to buy, because they are always at hand. By the way, this project will be especially interesting for novice welders - for them it is an opportunity to hone and consolidate practical skills.
Table lamp manufacturing process
The first step is to make a metal bowl of suitable diameter, on the outer surface of which a convex lampshade will be assembled. To do this, you need to cut a circle from a steel sheet and use the straightening hammer to give it the desired shape.
Before welding the nuts, you need to hold for some time first in a solution of acetic acid, and then "rinse" in a solution of baking soda. Next, lay the nuts on the surface of the bowl and weld them together. The resulting steel lampshade is treated with a grinder with a disk for grinding work.
At the next stage, from about the same number of nuts, you need to make a flat stand, to which we then weld a piece of steel bar. At the free end of the rod by welding you need to fix the lampshade. For greater aesthetics, nuts can also be welded along the entire length of the bar to make a ridge.
