This home-made device will help out in cases where you need to use a puncher or an electric drill (for example, to drill holes in a tree and stone or twist self-tapping screws), but there is no electricity in the house or workshop.

In order not to postpone the work (especially if it is necessary to fulfill an urgent order) for an indefinite period, you can make a universal nozzle for a pneumatic gun, and thus temporarily solve the problem. However, this requires a compressor unit.

Manufacturing process

For this simple homemade product you will need a standard cartridge from a power drill, as well as a head of a suitable diameter, which must be welded to the top of the cartridge. To more accurately center the mating parts, you can use the usual automobile valve.

The valve must be inserted into the hole in the drill chuck, and then put the head on top. After that, you can start welding work. Then the place of the weld must be cleaned with a grinder. Now the homemade device is fully ready for use.

Practical application

The universal nozzle is put on a pneumatic gun and you can begin to work. Using this device (and if there is pressure in the receiver) it will not be difficult to drill holes in the stone (for example, foam concrete, aerated concrete block, etc.) or wooden workpieces.

In the absence of electricity, you can use a pneumatic gun with a nozzle to perform other work - for example, to tighten screws and self-tapping screws. The process of manufacturing and using this home-made device, see the video on our website.
