The bedroom is the best place in the house. It is here that you can relax and take a break from the hardships of the past day. It is not surprising that the housewives furnish and decorate this room with special care. To make your bedroom look more comfortable and romantic, sew a nice bedspread with cute bows for the bed.
For tailoring of a bedspread of 240 * 205 cm in size, you will need:
• main fabric - length 170 cm and width 280 cm;
• fabric for frills - length 100 cm and width 280 cm;
• quilted lining fabric - length 445 cm and width 150 cm;
• synthetic winterizer - length 445 cm and width 150 cm;
• sewing threads in tone of the main and finishing fabric - 1 reel;
• scissors;
• tape measure, a long metal ruler, a centimeter tape;
• tailor pins with heads;
• chalk for fabric.
Cut
It is convenient to use curtain fabrics, for example, satin or jacquard, for sewing bedspreads, since they are wider and denser than usual. Cut a rectangle of 168 * 222 cm from the main fabric. Cut the fabric for frills into 4 parts 25 cm wide each. For bows of 16 squares measuring 12.5 * 12.5 cm. From the quilted lining fabric, cut out 2 rectangles: 150 * 222 and 150 * 74 cm. Also cut the synthetic winterizer.

Sewing technology
1. Apply stitches to the bedspread. To do this, apply on all 4 sides of the upper part with a fine notch every 27.5 cm, departing 1 cm from the edge of the part. On the long side there should be 8 notches, on the short - 6 notches. Connect them diagonally with each other, drawing shallow clear lines. As a result, you will get a pattern in the form of rhombs with a side of about 21 cm. Put a part of the top on the synthetic winterizer, fasten both strips with pins so that they do not move relative to each other and quilted the top of the bedspread.

2. Sew the frill. To do this, grind the details, iron the seams.

3. Then tuck the seam allowances and stitch.

4. Tuck the edge of the frill 0.5 cm and then 3 cm. Stitch the seam with pins.

5. Stitch the bottom edge and side cut of the ruffle.

6. Gently twist the corners of the frill with an envelope and lay the stitching stitch.

7. Sew along the other edge of the ruffle with a wide stitch at a distance of 0.75 cm from the edge. Then pick up the frill to a length of approximately 605 cm.

8. Apply a frill over the bedspread and fasten with pins.

9. Round off the corners of the bedspread.

10. Lay the stitching stitch 1 cm from the sections, while removing the pins.

11. Fold the lined top of the bedspread while pulling the frill inward. Sew fastening stitches 1.2 cm from the edge. Leave a hole 25-30 cm long in the line. Then turn the product through it to the front side, straighten the seams and frill. Sew the stitch gap with hidden stitches.

12. Sew decoration bows. First, fold the parts in half, lay the stitch, leaving a 3-4 cm gap in it. Then flatten the seam, fold the part so that it is in the middle, grind side sections, cut corners.

13. Turn the bow on the front side through the hole in the line, straighten the corners, iron.

14. Make a banner for the bow. Sew slices along the long side, twist with a pin on the front side, iron the part. Sew the finished bows to the bedspread, placing them at the tops of rhombs.

A nice new blanket is ready. It will definitely decorate your bedroom and give it a cheerful and romantic look.
