Any beautiful hair ornament complements any outfit very well. It’s especially difficult to choose any finished jewelry to match your tone, but to make it yourself, using accessories and materials similar to it, this workshop will help us well. In it we will make a hoop or rim, which will be decorated with kansashi flowers. For example, you or your child will have a white or white-pink dress, which is ideal for the color scheme of our hoop.
In total, the rim will be decorated with three flowers, two of which are the same and medium in size, and one large. Accordingly, we will use three types of ribbons: from satin, brocade and organza. The perfect combination and color transition between each other will create a delicate and original end result. So, we take the following for this:
• White satin ribbon 50 mm wide;
• Pale pink satin ribbon 40 mm wide;
• Organza ribbon 40 mm wide in white;
• Brocade silver ribbon 50 mm wide;
• A thin hoop, glued with a light pink satin ribbon, hoop width 5-6 mm;
• Three pink center flowers;
• Needle with thread;
• Glue gun;
• scissors;
• Pencil;
• Lighter;
• Hairpin for a clip;
• Ruler.

Let's get started. The hoop will be decorated with three voluminous flowers. We will have all three flowers with the same number of petals, twelve each. We take the tapes and prepare squares from them, from which we will make the petals. Our big flower will be white-silver, so for him we take a wide white satin ribbon and a silver wide brocade ribbon. From each one we cut twelve squares of 50 by 50 mm, we get 12 white and 12 silver squares. For medium identical petals, we prepare 12 pale pink squares of 40 * 40 mm and 12 white squares of organza 40 * 40 mm. Both flowers will be two-tone and with a combination of white and pink.

We cut all the squares with sharp scissors, and then each separately burn on both sides with a lighter.

The flowers in the hoop will also be made in different styles. In a large flower there will be sharp elongated petals, and in the middle, more rounded. So, we proceed to the manufacture of sharp petals. Take a white satin square, fold it diagonally.

We fold it a second time on the diagonal and hold it with a hairpin or clothespin. We take silvery square from brocade.

We also add a silver square diagonally once and a second time.

Now we take the white folded petal first, apply silver to it, retreating from the edge of about 1-1.5 mm, clamp it with tweezers and fold it in half.

We align the cut with scissors on the side, and also make an even parallel lateral cut. We process all sections with a lighter.

We straighten the petal, we get this result.

Now we make the middle petals for the twins' flowers. We take a pink satin square, and also fold it in half diagonally.

We insert the petal into the tweezers, bend inward from one side, and then from the other.

We twist the petal and fold it in half, cut parallel to the bottom and a little side, burn.

We straighten the petal, we get such a magnificent ribbed petal.

We do all the other petals in this order. In total, we get 12 two-tone large petals and 12 pink and white petals from satin and organza.

We collect flowers with a needle and thread, alternating them in color.

We also collect a large flower.

From a pink ribbon we cut out two circles of 3 cm in diameter, and from a white ribbon a circle of 4 cm. We burn all the circles.

We glue the substrate on the flowers from below with a pistol, then glue the pink centers.

It remains to glue the flowers on the hoop, as in the photo. Done! Thank you very much for your attention and good luck in manufacturing.
