An ordinary electric planer can be used to make a handy mini planer. And in this review, the author shows how to do this.
The machine is suitable for processing small workpieces. First, it will be necessary to cut the workpieces from the profile pipe (according to the size of the electric planer).
After that, the author welds the first four parts. To do this, “shorts” are welded to four sections of the profile (at the edges) - four workpieces of shorter length.

The main stages of work
The next step is to drill holes in four racks. Then, holes of a similar diameter will need to be drilled in the electric planter body itself.
We fasten the legs to the electric plane. This will require two threaded rods and nuts.
Next, cut a rectangular plate of sheet metal. On the edges we drill mounting holes. Then we weld legs to it.
After that, the author cuts a piece of metal strip and welds it to two pieces of square that are inserted into the racks. The result is a parallel focus.
In the end, it remains only to clean the welds and paint the parts. Then we proceed to the final assembly.
