In this review, the author shows how you can make a simple vacuum cleaner from an old circular saw with your own hands. Scope - cleaning in the workshop and garage.

In addition to manual circulars, you will need a plastic bucket, a piece of sheet metal and some other materials.

First of all, the author parses a hand-held circular saw and removes the anchor from it. An elongated nut is put on and welded onto the shaft.

Then the faces on the nut will need to grind on an emery or grinding machine.

After that, we screw a threaded rod (or a long bolt) into the elongated nut, fix it with an ordinary nut, and then cut it to the desired length.

The main stages of work

A plastic paint bucket is used as a waste bin. Approximately in the center of the bucket, the author screws a piece of plastic pipe onto the screws (a plank will rest on it).

From a piece of chipboard, plywood, OSB or a furniture board, you will need to cut two identical planks in the shape of a bucket.

One of them is installed on the "side" of the plastic pipe.

To her, the author glues three pieces of pipe on hot melt adhesive, on which the second plank will rest.

In the upper plank, you need to drill a hole for the plastic sewer pipe. We insert it into the hole and fix it with hot glue. The corrugation will then be inserted into the pipe.

Further, at the top of the bucket, the author glues a sealing strip. In the second plaque (which is on top), the author drills holes for fixing the circular.

Then it remains only to make the impeller and install it on the stud, which is connected through a nut to the armature shaft. And then you can start assembling.
