Need to remove bearings from the angle grinder, but there is no puller at hand? There is an easy way to do this in a home workshop or garage.

This will require a piece of steel blanks, a stud, two nuts and washers. It is also desirable that a handy vice is at hand.

First of all, it is necessary to cut off a piece of a steel bar of the required size and drill a longitudinal hole on a lathe.

Ideally, of course, have a finished part in stock. Also, on a drilling machine, the author makes conical recesses with a countersink.

The main stages of work

Further, in principle, everything is very simple. It is necessary to measure and then cut off a piece of a threaded rod by a grinder under the diameter of the hole in the disc and select the appropriate nuts and washers.

We screw a nut on one end of the stud, then put on the washer and a piece of disc. After that, put on the washer again and tighten the nut. Now you can begin to remove the bearings.

We insert one end of the stud into the hole in the bearing, twist the second nut and fix part of the gearbox in a bench vise. Raise the steel bar up the stud and sharply lower it down. Several such movements, and the bearing is in your hands.
