Sanding block manufacturing process
First of all, it will be necessary to prepare a wooden block. First, the master levels its surface with a planer. And then saws off on a circular saw a piece of the desired length.
Then, using a wood hacksaw and a chisel with a mallet, we give the bar the necessary shape. Next, with the help of sandpaper, all irregularities are removed.
At the next stage in the workpiece you need to cut a groove under the handle. The handle itself is cut from a wooden blank. And as a template, you can use the hacksaw handle.
Well, then it remains only to glue the handle and make a groove in the upper part of the bar into which the edge of the sandpaper will be inserted. It will also be necessary to make a wooden wedge.
