In the process of repairing or maintaining a car, you often have to poke around under its bottom, and if there is no pit in the garage, you can get by with a homemade flyover. You can make it from different scraps of metal with your own hands.

In order to prevent the car from falling off, in the construction of the mini flyover there are sides on the sides, as well as an emphasis in front. The contact point with the wheel is additionally reinforced by jibs. Thus, it is convenient and absolutely safe to call into it.

First of all, the author saws off one shelf from a metal corner, and then bends at the desired angle. In total, four pieces of the corner will be required to make the flyover: two right and two left.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author cuts the profile pipes in size, and cleans them from rust. The edge of the crossbar of the base must be cut off at an acute angle - there will be a race on the overpass. And then the front stop frame is welded.

Next, the lateral trapeziums are assembled on clamps and welded. After that, the master welds the spacers of the base. Then you need to weld racks: front and intermediate. The master makes the surface of the raceway overpass of a steel strip 20 mm wide and 5 mm thick. They are welded in increments of 30 mm.

At the last stage, it remains only to put two jibs in the place of contact with the wheel, as well as a pair of spacers for greater structural rigidity. Then the overpass must be primed and painted.
