In addition to the spring, for making homemade products you will need a long stud, bolts with nuts and two steel plates, on the edges of which you need to drill one hole. The nuts are screwed onto the stud, and two plates are welded to them.
The main stages of work
The end of the stud needs to be sharpened slightly under the cone, so that it better rests against the shaft on which the bearing "sits". A handle is welded to the other edge of the stud. And then you need to cut off 2 identical pieces from the shock absorber spring itself.
On one side of each piece, the spring will need to be welded in two nuts (or one elongated one can be used). Then you can start assembling this device. This is noticeable no more than 2-3 minutes.
