But there is no limit to perfection - there is a useful refinement that will help make this tool even better and more convenient in work. Of the necessary "arsenal" of the master, you only need an angle grinder (angle grinder) and an electric drill.
First of all, stepping back from the edge of the eye 7-8 mm, it is necessary to drill two holes. It is necessary to drill them as close as possible to each other, so that later you can make one oval hole, combining them together. Drill - 4 mm in diameter. The depth of the sample is approximately 8 mm.
After the oval hole has been drilled, it is necessary to make a cut using an angle grinder - from the hole towards the striker. The cut depth should be 4 mm, the width is about the same.
The main stages of work
Using a marker, draw a line, after which we make the cut ourselves. And note that it must be cut by a grinder at an angle of 90 degrees with respect to the striker. In order to cut the desired width, we connect two cutting discs with a thickness of 2 mm, in total we get 4 mm.
To make the edges of the grooves smooth, without burrs, insert a piece of a round file for metal into the electric drill chuck and process the cut.
At the last stage of work with a drill with a diameter of 4 mm, drill a hole in the middle of the groove to a depth of 3 mm. It will be a seat for neodymium magnets. By the way, you can find them in ordinary headphones. Magnets are fixed with superglue.
