After some refinement, you can make a universal wrench from an ordinary open-end wrench. With it, you can easily unscrew the nuts and bolts of different diameters. And for this there is no need to carry with you a whole set of open-end or open-end wrenches.
To make a universal key with your own hands, for this you will need a regular open-end wrench of the diameter you need, as well as a bolt with a nut for attaching the movable head. To work, you will need a grinder and an emery machine.
First of all, cut one of the heads from the open-end wrench. The place of the cut on the head must be sanded with a flap wheel for angle grinders or on a belt grinding machine. Then you can proceed to the next stage of work.
Universal Key Manufacturing Process
Using a grinder, we cut off part of one of the sponges of the head of the open end wrench, after which we make a longitudinal cut. Next, we make an oblique cut on the tool handle itself. A little "comb" the metal on the sides of the workpiece, and then cut into small cloves.
At the last stage, we drill through holes in the handle and head of the open end wrench. Then we connect them together using a small bolt with a nut. The result is a simple and easy-to-use tool.
