The classic material for making slingshots is wood. However, progress does not stand still, and today you can make this "weapon" from any improvised materials. For example, from polypropylene pipes. The slingshot itself turns out to be very powerful and versatile in use - it can shoot with stones or metal balls, as well as arrows.

To make a homemade powerful slingshot, the following materials will be required: a small segment of a polypropylene pipe, two branches of 90 degrees and one tee. These parts often lie in the pantry or on the balcony (they remain after laying the pipeline in the house), and they can also be inexpensively bought at any hardware store.

We make a slingshot from polypropylene pipes

On one of the sides we saw off a part of the tee, and in the other hole we insert a short piece of pipe, on which we put a 90-degree bend. We also insert a segment of the tube into the free end of the tee, after which we “push” the second branch on it. From a short section of a polypropylene pipe we make an emphasis for a hand, from a long one - a horn.

For greater rigidity, we wind the resulting stag beef in the lower and central parts with a nylon rope. Then we make a tourniquet from gum and with the help of leather (or denim) we fasten the propelling part of the “weapon” to the horn. Material for the manufacture of saddles, you can choose at your discretion. See all the steps of assembling a slingshot from polypropylene pipes in the video on the website.
