There are many different types of harnesses made of beads and they all differ from each other in their shape and performance. This type of tourniquet is called spiral. It is woven quite simply and can serve as an everyday decoration both on the neck and on the arm. Its main advantage is the simplicity of weaving with which any novice craftswoman is able to cope. A flagellum weaves on one fishing line.
In order to weave a spiral rope we need:
- Fishing line or monofilament;
- Needle for beads;
- Beads of three different sizes.
justifyWe pick up eight beads on a fishing line. The three red ones that go first will serve us as the basis of the product, so their size should be slightly larger than black and white.
With the end of the fishing line, which collected the first eight beads, we go through the first three beads.
As a result, a ring is formed.
We collect six more beads.
With the end of the line we pass through three red beads, while the first one is skipped.
You should get two little rings.
In this way, the set must be woven to the desired length. It is imperative to ensure that when weaving the second ring lies on the first, the third on the second, otherwise in the end it will not work to form a spiral.
After the desired length has been achieved, you need to go to the final part - the design of the final appearance of the product. To do this, take a new piece of fishing line or monofilament, and pass it through the largest central bead of the first ring.
Pass the right end of the fishing line from the same side through the large bead of the next ring, and pass the second end of the fishing line through the same bead only to the left.
In this way, you should connect all the parts together.
For this kind of flagellum, you don’t even need a clasp, it will look great if you just tie two edges of the fishing line together.
