Sometimes in the process of building a house, bathhouse or other structures on the site, rubble, sand, cement and other bulk building materials must be carried manually from the place of their storage or unloading directly to the construction site. This takes a lot of time and effort, especially if you need to climb stairs or paths up.

To facilitate and speed up the process of transferring building materials, make yourself a simple and useful device - a swing lift. Using it, moving buckets with crushed stone, cement or sand will be much easier, easier and more convenient. It is possible to make such a rotary crane-crane from improvised materials.

Design features of the swivel lift

As a base, an ordinary tripod with a supporting platform is used, to which the lifting-turning mechanism itself is attached. A long pipe is welded to it (its length is determined individually, depending on the removal of the storage / unloading place of the material to the site on which construction is underway.

Since it is quite difficult to find a long steel pipe of suitable diameter at the farm, it is possible to weld a “shoulder” of a crane from several sections. A motorcycle chain (or cable) with a hook for hanging a bucket is attached to one side. And at the other end is a counterweight. The legs of the tripod are best made height-adjustable, as the terrain is not always perfectly flat.

With the help of such a home-made swing lift, it will be much easier to transfer bulk building materials to the summer cottage. And the cost of such a design is extremely small, since it is assembled from what is at hand.
