Using a 3D pen, you can not only "draw" various toys and models, but also create useful things that are useful in the household. For example, you can make plastic blades (impeller) for a floor, table or even pocket fan.

Using plastic in different colors, you can make an ordinary household fan brighter and more original. And also “drawing” various useful things with a 3D pen is a great idea for spending joint leisure time with your child.

DIY plastic blades

Of the basic materials, you will need ABS plastic, a 3D pen that can be ordered on the Internet, as well as a factory impeller of a household fan - a new model will be "drawn" from it. First you need to make templates for the main parts. To do this, apply the impeller to the paper and draw with a pencil.

We "draw" the blades and the central part to which they will be attached. To make the parts more durable, it is desirable to make them layered, and also to impose stiffeners on top. Last of all, a sleeve is made for “docking” with the motor shaft - it is mounted inside the impeller on “stretch marks” made of plastic.

After all the main parts have been glued together, we install the blades on the fan and press with a plastic nut. This is how simple and quick you can make your own fan blades with the help of a 3D pen. The step-by-step process of manufacturing and assembling the impeller can be seen in this video.
